This summer festival brought together artists, musicians, and residents in a celebration of Little Hulton. My role was to create a link between the artists, facilitating conversations and connection, and to begin a piece of art together to commemorate the day.  

It was important to us that this reflected the local area and, following discussions, we began a collaborative artwork mapping the place of the festival within the town, including suggestions of local landmarks collected from visitors. The map was co-created by artists and attendees, with everyone having the opportunity to share their stories of the town.

The work created on the day will act as a starting point for a larger project, including artists and community groups.
