As part of my placement module, I supported photographer Liz Wewiora in her work with the over-60s group, Many Hands Craft Collective. The project celebrated the local community and its connection to the hidden waterways in the city, exploring history, ecology, and access.

The group created work using techniques such as cyanotype, papermaking, and poetry, with each participant contributing their own stories. I was involved in both creation and planning sessions, as well as the curation of an exhibition collating all their work over the past several months.

This exhibition will be held in collaboration with Manchester Histories at Manchester Central Library in February 2026.
